As soon as I stepped into the lobby of the Spring Valley Inn, I felt like I had traveled back in time. The warm glow of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed lamps and the comfortable, vintage-inspired furnishings made me feel like I was experiencing a piece of history. My room was cozy and charming, with a Wright-designed lamp that cast a warm, inviting light.But while the inn's historic charm is undeniable, it's the attention to detail and commitment to comfort that really sets it apart. Each morning, I looked forward to the fresh breakfast spread, with fresh scrambled eggs, crispy sausage, and a variety of fresh fruits and yogurts. And after a day of exploring the charming town of Spring Green, the inn's state-of-the-art gym was the perfect place to unwind (I was surprised and impressed by the modern equipment!).The inn's location can't be beat - I was within walking distance to the Spring Green General Store and a short drive from Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's famous home and studio. And yet, the peaceful setting of the inn made me feel a world away.If you're looking for a unique and comfortable place to stay in Spring Green, I highly recommend the Spring Valley Inn. This unique family owned inn was a perfect place to stay for 2 nights. We enjoyed the Frank Lloyd Wright art and decor. The rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Complete breakfast. Staff very helpful, friendly and accomodating. They even found a place to store our bicycles overnight. Nice large swimming pool with a hot tub, sauna and fitness room. There's a wonderful lounge/common area to relax in. Located off the highway, so no traffic noise. Great location to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, American Player's Theatre, House on the Rock, and many recreational activities.
What a great place to stay. Clean, friendly service. Nice grounds. The pool, hot tub and sauna were a great hit. The lounge area was laid out perfect and very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We look forward to coming back for a stay
Stayed this past weekend for a wedding in the area. Loved the Spring Valley Inn! Excellent service, clean rooms, quiet and comfortable. We used the pool, steam room, and sauna each day we were there and loved it! Special HUGE thanks to Audrey tending bar on Saturday night. We were EXHAUSTED after the wedding and wanted to unwind with a cocktail when we got back. Audrey mixed a FANTASTIC cocktail for us and we just loved it! Would absolutely stay there again.
First time visit Spring Valley Inn, and definitely not the last. The room was comfortable and the property was clean and maintained. The location is convenient and close to town and most attractions that would draw you to this area. I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Both were super clean and had amazing tile work. The breakfast was a solid standard hot hotel breakfast. The staff was very nice and check in/out was easy. Most importantly, this hotel was nice and quiet.
Had a wonderful stay. Room was nice and clean. Pool area beautiful. Didn’t get to use to fire pit due to rain but there’s always next time. Friendly staff. Great bird watching from the lounge /bar area. Till next time.
My family stayed at Spring Valley Inn for just one night, but it was truly a delight! The rooms are incredibly clean, the staff are the friendliest you can get, and my kids adored the pool. Top it off with a complimentary breakfast in the morning, and it has me wishing all hotels would operate like this one!
Spring Valley Inn is a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway! The rooms are cute and cozy. The breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day, plenty of coffee, eggs, waffles, and much more. We really enjoyed spending time in the pool and steam rooms. The Inn is right off Highway 14, so it’s a great location to stay at if you’re visiting nearby State Parks, House on the Rock or the Frank Lloyd Wright Visiter Center. The staff is also very attentive and gave us great dinner recommendations!
I stayed at The Spring Valley Inn during a group bike trip. The motel was exceptionally well maintained including the pool area. My roommate and I did not have a car and asked the owner for a ride to the Frank Lloyd Wright property in Two Rivers for a tour. He graciously drove us to the property and then picked us up afterwards! Not surprising that I would highly recommend this business.
Super sweet little family-owned boutique hotel. Nothing fancy, but adorable and comfortable and well kept. Exceptionally good and friendly service, at check-in with great local recommendations...we ate at Wisconsin Riverside Resort on the patio as recommended by the front desk for dinner, which was a casual waterfront atmosphere...In the morning we grabbed coffee at Kelly's Coffee, and had lunch at Wander Provisions locally between touring Taliesen. This hotel was clean, I loved the patio and the fountain and bird feeders/landscaping was so pretty and peaceful. We only stayed for a night, but a great little gem. Would recommend this place for your stay in Spring Green!
